A connected approach to risk
Look at the operation.
Then build the plan.
We start with your work, contracts, locations, people and equipment. Then we review the available policies and explain how they fit together. We also discuss where gaps may remain.
General liability
Helps address covered bodily injury to others, property damage and personal or advertising injury claims. We review operations, locations, subcontractors and contract requirements to help identify the appropriate coverage.
A customer injury at your location and damage caused by your work raise different questions. We review defense provisions, products and completed operations, and additional insured requests. Your own tools and inventory need a separate property review.
Commercial property
Coverage for buildings, equipment, furniture and inventory against covered causes of loss. Valuation, deductibles, coinsurance, theft protections and property owned by others can affect how a claim is handled.
We also ask where property is kept, whether it travels, and who owns it. Tenant improvements, leased equipment, and newly acquired property should be discussed so the insured interests and locations are clear.
Business income & extra expense
May help replace lost business income and pay certain extra expenses after a covered property loss interrupts operations. We review the coverage trigger, waiting period, restoration period and available limits.
Think beyond the first week of repairs. Continuing expenses, seasonal revenue, supplier dependencies, and the time needed to reopen can affect the amount and duration of protection you need.
Business owner’s policy (BOP)
For eligible businesses, a BOP can combine property, liability and certain business income protections. Eligibility and included coverages vary; larger or more complex operations may need a commercial package.
A convenient package is a starting point for comparison. We review endorsements and exclusions for your actual activities, then identify any needs that sit outside the package.
Commercial auto
For vehicles used in your business, from a single service truck to a fleet. We discuss vehicle ownership, drivers, garaging, travel radius and hired or exposures involving vehicles owned by others. Personal auto coverage may leave gaps.
Employee errands, rented trucks, and personally owned vehicles used for work deserve attention. Liability for their business use and physical damage to a vehicle are different coverage questions.
Workers’ compensation
Helps provide benefits for covered employee injuries arising from work or illnesses. We discuss payroll, job classifications and coverage options. Requirements depend on your operations and contracts; ask us to review your situation.
We review duties by role because office work, installation, and field work can create different exposures. Tell us about subcontractors, work in other states, and contractual insurance requirements before new work begins.
Professional liability / E&O
For claims alleging covered mistakes, negligence or failures in professional services. We review your services, retroactive dates, reporting terms for claims made coverage and contractual obligations.
An allegation that your advice caused a client financial loss may need a different response from an injury at your office. We explain how the services description, reporting deadlines, and defense costs affect your E&O review.
Additional commercial risk review
Ask us about needs such as excess liability, tools and equipment, installation exposures, cyber incidents or claims involving employment practices. We will discuss market availability and suitability before recommending a solution.
A growing business may collect more customer data, buy mobile equipment, hire employees, or sign larger contracts. We revisit those changes with you so the insurance conversation keeps pace with the operation.
